The mic program is simple.

It is designed to support individuals or groups who wish to stay for an extended period and focus on their creative work. The program provides support for the creative experience itself.

While drawing from the frameworks of an artist in residence, a retreat, and a workation, this program places its primary emphasis on making and creating. Its central purpose is to provide each participant with the freedom and space to pursue their own creative practice.

Our support in three key areas.

1. Space

Each participants is provided with space for
①accommodation ②work ③sharing

The place is located nearby the calm sea. The facility is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and work space/desk. The workspace is currently limited, but we are working to expand it and create additional spaces to accommodate more participants. At present, we can host two to three participants per month. Wi-fi is available at the accommodation.

2. Communication

Our basecamp is located in a small community, but the area has many inspiring locals. If participants wish to connect with the local community, we are happy to help facilitate introductions. While we do not provide full-time translation services, we are always willing to support communication when it contributes to your creative activities.

3. Creative Process

Participants are free to pursue their own creative work during the stay. As we are not specialists in each participant’s field, we can't and won't provide any advice or consulting on your project. However, we are happy to offer hands-on assistance when extra help is needed during the creative process.
